Kristy Tholanikunnel serves as Transaction Counsel for CIM and is based out of New York City. Prior to joining CIM, Ms. Tholanikunnel was an associate at Seward & Kissel LLP, where she represented borrowers, lenders, trustees and agents in connection with bond issuances, lending transactions, asset-backed financings, project financings, securitizations and debt restructurings. Prior to Seward & Kissel, Ms. Tholanikunnel was an associate at Hogan Lovells LLP, where she focused on debt capital markets transactions.

Ms. Tholanikunnel has a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science (magna cum laude) from Furman University and a JD from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
